This book publishes the proceedings of a conference organized by the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar, Senegal, on 9-11 May 2019. The purpose of the conference was to promote and contribute to the dissemination of scientific knowledge on the role and scope of trust in the implementation of laws and policies that value cultural diversity.

About the Editors

Mamadou Badji is a Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar, Senegal. He is the Director of the Center for Legal Research and Documentation (CERD) at UCAD. He is the author of numerous publications on law and cultural diversity.

Abdoulaye Diouf is a Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar, Senegal. He is the Director of the Institute for Human Rights and Development (IDDH) at UCAD. He is the author of numerous publications on human rights and cultural diversity.
